 I was just thinking EXACTLY the same thing. I guess I can expect even MORE spam now. 🙄

As it happens, I have been getting more junk mail since the app season started.

I also got the same e-mail--it took them long enough to acknowledge that I was complete!

YOU again ????

Didn't he die a few months ago? And I thought you were from Benin????

Well - I thought I'd check my Yale status (mind you I turned in my secondary on the deadline so I fully expect a rejection).

Interestingly - the status page says that my letters have not been received (They were uploaded to VirtualEval...) and that my certification form and payment have also not been received (I mailed these in September and they cashed the check on Sept 24...)

Does anyone have experience with this status page being accurate?

Oh well...

My status page has taken a while to update (letters mailed, and they tended to turn up as arrived about three weeks later) but it's been accurate, and I got an email from the office confirming that the app was complete as soon as the last letter arrived. You might want to give them a call, I know it says up and down on the website that you have to check via the site, but I spoke to someone in the office on the phone last week and she was one of the more helpful people that I have dealt with in the whole process, so I'm sure that they would be happy to talk to you.

Good luck.

thanks... I just got my complete email, so I suppose all is well.

I've had my secondary complete as of October 2nd, no word yet on an interview. Has anyone here interviewed, and if so, when did you submit your secondary?

yes people have interviewed

i'm not one of them but there's been a range between completion date and interview invite

personally i was complete for about 3 months and then got a rejection via email after asking what was going on

Geez, I better not ask about my application then....hahaha..

Yale doesn't have rolling admission therefore they can't "officially" let you know that you got in until March, BUT they do send out "we like you a lot and can't tell you officially until later but you got in" emails. They basically say that they like you a lot and can't tell you officially you got in until later. When I got it last year I called and spoke with both Susan (the program administrator) and the person who wrote the letter (committee member) to find out exactly what that meant (I was fishing for a verbal yes) and they both told me that they send around 5 of those each cycle and they "historically" all get in. I interviewed in December and got that email in January, so some of you have something to look forward to in the next couple weeks. . .
