R rocknightmare Senior Member 7+ Year Member 15+ Year Member Feb 12, 2006 #2 when you using a slowspeed we are told to look straight at the bur. it should rotate counterclockwise in order to *cut* otherwise you are only ... um i forgot what lol but anyways so if the bur is pointed downward then it is clockwise i guess
