Simple Dental Bur Rotation Direction Question

When you are holding the handpiece and about to drill from this vantagepoint (looking down the shank) does the bur rotate clockwise?


Need this answer and can't seem to remember for sure.

when you using a slowspeed we are told to look straight at the bur. it should rotate counterclockwise in order to *cut* otherwise you are only ... um i forgot what lol but anyways so if the bur is pointed downward then it is clockwise i guess

Clockwise when looking down on it with the bur pointed away from you.
