Simple question, can PA's write referrals?

To say another specialist.

On another note could a PCP treat herniated disks/scoliosis or would they need to refer to a spine specialist. I would think they could but honestly I have no experience with the matter.

Yes, but remember the referral is truly from the physician whom the PA works under. But yes, the referrals happen all the time. As well they should.
