Hi, I submitted my TMDSAS application back in June, one of my letters of rec though still hasnt been submitted yet. It's my graduate adviser/previous professor/associate VP for Research. I'm really worried about it since I've heard that schools won't even look at your application until all the supplementals are in. Is it basically like a line and I get put in place whenever my last letter of rec comes in? That's the ONLY thing that's missing right now and I've reminded him a few times already. He's just really busy right now it seems.

Have you received any emails from Texas schools? It looks like turning it early will not help you, since your letter is not in. Yes, these applications seem to be looked at on a first come first serve basis. How long will this guy take? Do you have any alternative professors/was this an "optional" letter or a required one?
I believe this is a required one, we were required to have 2 professors and 1 practicing dentist (required only for Baylor) and this is one of my professors. I do have a back up, kind of. I'm sure if I told the other professor now, it'll take just as long.
I have received confirmation emails from UTSA and Baylor, however, UT Houston has not emailed me yet. I'm just hoping for the best. I'm hoping the late completion time won't hurt me too much 🙁

Don't think UT Houston has started sending out emails yet, but hey at least you got emails from the other ones! What good would an incomplete file do even if you have a place in line? :/
Wishing you all the best! Since you are ONLY missing one rec, hopefully your stats can land you an interview soon! Call up baylor or something and see what they say!
Will do, I'm sure they'll all say they don't look at apps until everythings in. My sGPA is actually pretty low, which is why I tried to finish my app as soon as I could. It's a bummer that my professor is taking so long, I try and remind him kindly, but I may have to write him an email soon and explain the whole situation. He is really busy though and he's my graduate adviser right now and has a large stake in the next year of my life so I don't want to annoy him.
