So I am currently finishing up a SMP program and was wondering if I should update the schools I am waitlisted at with my grades after I graduate. Does it make any difference? I know it's generally useless and some schools explicitly say not to update with transcripts, but I was thinking it's different since I am in a SMP and the schools I'm waitlisted at have their own SMP programs. Maybe they want to see how I finished and are holding off even though I know it won't be a deal maker to accept me.
Normally, I would have just done it as per the advice of my program advisors, but recently my grades have slight a downward trend, 3.65 --> probably graduate with 3.56-3.59. Now that I think about it, the difference is small, but for some reason I keep thinking 3.6 is like an unspoken minimum threshold needed in an SMP.
