I graduated but this past semester was rough. Even though I managed a B in Human Phys (A in Anatomy), I received a C in Botany and took a W instead of finishing my chem minor. Ended up with a 2.9 for the semester, 3.39 overall and 3.55 major (bio) GPA. It's from my understanding that a ~22 in the MCAT normally does the trick and I shouldn't have a problem getting that. So do my chances still look good? And to which schools? One time :xf:

Everything sounds fine. Don't worry. Most schools don't care about some bad grades here and there. W's are way better than F's or D's. Also most schools will accept people with at least a 18 MCAT so again, apply and don't worry.

Your GPA is on the safe side, hopefully you have shadowed a podiatrist, get some clinical experience, nice LORs. As for the MCATs its better to shoot for >23 if you can. Reason being everyone sch will want you plus you can save some $$ by getting a scolarship. I had a 28 and 3.3 and temple gave me $10k

You are in good standing. When I got accepted 2 years ago, I had similar GPAs and MCAT scores like you, and I was a bio major like 90% of applicants are every year. I am just glad that podiatry school admission is easier compared to MD medical school applications! They want MCAT of at least a 30 (10 in all sections) and a GPA of at least a 3.6. Man!
