Ah lucky me. I feel like I have so much downtime, I am about to study for the MCAT. I graduate in December so I'm taking the MCAT sometime in March/April before the next cycle begins. So I'd like to take the path of the tortoise, not the hare. Can anyone give me some advice on how to create an MCAT plan, from scratch?

I have kaplan books I got from a friend, I dont plan on taking a prep course. I do plan on using EK FL tests and Khan academy when needed.

However, I'm a tutor for biochem and ochem and work in a MolGen lab. So I'd like to really weight certain areas of my study plan for stuff I don't interact with as often.

Like. Where do I begin. I'm about to run a marathon and I have yet to tie my shoes! Any tips or ideas are helpful

I was able to raise my score by 16 points by diligently going through the Kaplan books. I basically tackled a couple chapters per day (I scheduled it out, took me about 2.5-3 months) and made sure to include AAMC practice tests (I purchased through AAMC) throughout my studying.
