I've heard Michigan is only sending out supplementals until the 17th of December so they can get them all back in by X-Mas, but watching the board (yep, I'm a creeper 😉) I haven't heard anyone mention getting one lately.

I was just wondering if we think it's done or not. Maybe people are getting stuff and not saying, I don't know. I was kind of hoping for one since my SIS was fairly competitive but now I'm really second guessing my math.

Any ideas? :xf:

I've been wondering the same thing. I also have a competitive SIS score and haven't heard a word from them. At this point I've chalked them up to a rejection, which is fine because MSU is not my top choice and I've already received 2 interview invites from schools that are much higher on my list. I'm in the middle of finals week and fly out of town on Friday for my first interview, so honestly even if I were to get a supplemental from MSU between now and the 17th I'm not even sure I'd complete and return it. I've been disappointed in the lack of communication from them and feel that if they were interested in me I would've heard from them by now - and it's totally fine that they're not interested in me, I've just decided not to spend any time worrying about it anymore. 🙂

Got mine today too! Does anyone know how many people they invite to fill out the supplemental app.?

This is purely a guess, but I would imagine they invite anyone and everyone who has an SIS score meeting or exceeding some magic number they pick to fill out a supplemental.

The magic number is 790 (out of 1000). There's another thread called Michigan 2014 that has the formula with how to calculate your SIS score 🙂

I did see that in the other thread, I just wasn't sure if the magic number was the same every year or if they based it on each year's applicant pool. Thanks for clarification! 🙂
