I loved this program and would be thrilled to go there...but is it possible to come on TOO strong?
Please help...I really am not sure what to talk about and the whole idea makes me nervous.

You should ask questions. Don't make them sound judgemental, but you need to ask questions about the program, the location, etc... It shows several things. That you are interested, that you've thought about the program and that you're aware that not every program is peaches-n-cream.

Any questions on detail topics are good. Like "Are there opportunities for me to work in a rural setting?". Or something like that.

You don't want to mash the guy though.
