Some advice on private lenders for loans?

Hi everyone, I was just accepted to LECOM-B (woohooo ) and was hoping for some advice on loans w/ private lenders. I am taking the max out for Stafford but am in need of more aid. I have less than stellar credit, and wondering if there were lenders understanding of that. These finances are worrying me a bit so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

try northstar.org and their THE (the higher education) program. You may want to get your stafford from them as well. If you don't know why, you can read about it on their website....but essentially, the stafford loan is a government loan but secured through a non-government back that may or may not charge fees.
