I have a question and I need the help of some professionals.
I currently live in the Republic of Georgia, in Eastern Europe. Im not a dentist but an English teacher living in a remote village (previously from California). I live with a dentist and her family here and I have been tasked (being the only English speaker) to help purchase a digital dental radiography machine for their new hospital. Currently, I have search the internet with great pain in trying to understand what it is I need to recommend they purchase. Currently to get an x-ray they have to send the patient almost 2 hours away so having this would make life much better for a lot for people.
So far I have found only some units that can do what we need but I see that they are outrageous in price. One such example is Kodak VVG 6100. Im also confused as to what other devices we need as this will be the first time setting up such unit here. I feel Im capable of setting up the unit but still am at a loss of what to buy and how much to pay. I need only the most basic digital radiography machine and even used will be fine.
Could I please get some advice on this problem and some solutions to the cost because I only am told the budget is a few thousand USD.
