Hi everyone

I wanted to ask you all a question that has been weighing heavily on my mind. I attempted to find answers in previously posted threads, but most of the information was not helpful, just judgmental in a totally irrelevant way.

I attended undergrad for a year right after I graduated high school. I did poorly, and didnt go back. After that I enrolled two years later in a private school and did exceptionally well. I transfered up from their after two years.

Now for the question.

I did not apply with my bad transcript to either of my two undergrads. I don't need to be told that I am going to burn in hell, it was wrong but I'm graduated and what's done is done. What I do need to know is this:

I ABSOLUTELY will include ALL transcripts on my app for professional school. I am not worried about the year of bad grades in terms of trying to hide them. I will deal with the consequences.

I want to know if admissions will be able to tell that I omitted one transcript at other points in my college career somehow. OR will it look like the previous schools and I decided not to transfer any credits from that transcript.

Thanks guys, constructive responses would really make my day.

If you have retaken the classes that you did bad in, I would just include those, b/c they are going to really look at your latest and best grades for those classes any ways. I know a guy that didnt do well on the pharmacy pre-reqs. and took those classes again; they used the latest grades to form his GPA. Hope that answers your question. Good luck on getting accepted.

Could they tell? Probably. Will they? Probably not, unless they are looking for it. Would they call the other school's admissions? Unlikely.

Bad choice at the beginning, but the professional school likely wouldn't do anything unless there was evidence you were trying to dupe them.

I know that my school puts together a "map" of the student's progression... adding events to a timeline. If there were any gaps - they asked questions about it. That being said - if there are no gaps - you should be fine. The fact that you are submitting all transcripts makes me think they will just factor in your bad grades along with the newer ones. There really shouldn't be any retroactive response...
