Does anyone know how much it will screw up my application if my transcripts don't have the official SOPHAS transcript request form with them? Two of my colleges had problems with their on-line transcript ordering system resulting in my requests being lost (ugh!). I just had to re-order my transcripts yesterday, 2 weeks after my initial request, and the new transcripts are being sent out without the SOPHAS form. Anyone else not have the official form with their transcripts?

"SOPHAS understands that your Registrar or Records Office may neglect to attach your Transcript Request Form to the transcript that they send. SOPHAS can still accept your transcripts without the Transcript Request Form, but this may delay the document's receipt by 2-3 days."

I think the only thing it's going to do is delay the matching process. SOPHAS has it listed as 2-3 days. My guess is it has to do with the volume of app's. There's no way for them to know if you requested it without them or if the registrar forgot it. I wouldn't worry too much.

i actually completely forgot to request transcripts using the SOPHAS form so i hope it doesn't cause a big hold-up in the process...anyone else frustrated/confused by how SOPHAS operates? it seems way more complicated than it needs to be..

I sent in most of my transcripts without the SOPHAS form. They still arrived just fine.
