EALC C-201 ( chinese II) CHEM C-341 (organic I) PHYS P-221 (physics I) MATH M-311 (calc 3) SPH I-168 (swimming)

how will this schedule be?

Should be good, I took a similar workload this semester and last semester and it was alright, I was able to get A's in both Ochem and Physics. Although this is very professor dependent.

For reference - 1st semester - Ochem 1, physics (algebra based) 1, anatomy and pathophys, sociology, ochem lab - 16 credits
2nd - Ochem 2, physics 2, anatomy and pathophys 2, science and technical writing, ochem lab, research for credit - 20 credits

Both semesters were a full workload but neither was not manageable. Just be honest with yourself and realize you may have to sacrifice time form elsewhere in your life when the workload gets higher. I expect to do better this semester than last semester, but I unfortunately had to decrease the time I spent on some other things in order to keep up with the classes and study.

Good luck

organic + physics is tough if both courses come with lab - doable but should be challenging. Adding calc 3 to that would be brutal in my opinion. You know yourself best, so if you are confident you can handle it by all means go for it. I waited until junior year to take physics because O chem is pretty time consuming. You do you

I think the fact that you're in calc 3 says you're pretty good at math. Physics should be a breeze. I'm taking Orgo II and Physics I this semester and am doing great.

Is it that much brutal? Worth noting your comment..

O chem + lab at my school was 6 credits. Physics + lab was 5 credits. All calc classes at my school were at least 4 credits. I always felt that classes like these always had a ton of work. Lab reports, weekly quizzes, hard exams.
Like I said it's totally manageable if you're on top of your stuff, but the sophomore GPA dip due to O chem is very common - and trying to juggle two other (large credit hour) science/math classes would definitely be a challenge. People do it. But I avoided it and I'm glad I did - took a couple gen ed blow off classes to give me more time to make an A in O chem.
