Does anyone have any experience with the University of South Alabama (Mobile) program? I was extremely impressed when I met them at the ACOG meeting but I would like some other comments as well. THanks in advance.

I'm currently an MS3 at South. Obviously I'm going to be a little biased especially since I like Ob/Gyn and I go there. It's a really nice program. Haven't done any externships yet to compare to other places. The attendings are excellent. Residents are a pretty tight knit group, going out to dinner together and having get-togethers. Ob is done at USA Children and Women's hospital which is a great newer hospital. Brand new USA Cancer Center being built next to Children and Womens; great Gyn Onc experience. Overall I think it's a great program and I'd be glad to stay here.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully we will both get our pick then. Good Luck to you.
