I only applied to one other school. From talking with practicing pharmacists, the consensus is that most all pharmacy schools are as good as any other school, so long as they're accredited. The belief seems to be that a good student can make the most of their time, no matter where they attend.
SDSU really looks nice -- they have a new building and Brookings is a cute town. That said, I think the weather may be even worse than where I currently live (something I didn't think was possible) and the campus doesn't have any skyways or underground walkways for nasty winter conditions. It also appears that SDSU doesn't accept students from outside the upper midwest, at least judging from the hometowns of their most recent graduating class. The housing situation doesn't look that awesome, either, but I guess that's probably true of any college town.
One more thing: SDSU felt a bit more personable and friendly than the other schools I've looked at. I think this might just be because the admissions office is so darn nice, but they also have a smaller class size than some of the other big midwestern schools.
