i interviewed at UGA late Jan. and still waiting for a reply from Mercer. how about you? in the meantime, i'm hoping for both of us. keep those fingers crossed!

I got accepted to Wingate and am still waiting on Mercer. I didn't apply to UGA because I didn't have a 4.0 GPA.

lol. it's very reasonable to feel that way about UGA but, then again, my GPA isn't great either. i only hope to get in one school. congrats on getting the a-okay from Wingate!

i just talked to admissions about my app. and found that we won't hear from them until Friday or early next week.

wats up guys. i was wondering if anyone could give me their 2 cents on the city and the school. i don't know much about it except that it is an accelerated program. anyways, anyone interviewing on 3/7 or 3/13?

Hello I received a confirmation letter on Jan 28th but have not heard back since. does anyone know if there's an interview that the school has not yet called the interviewees?

Has anyone heard back from the Feb 22nd interview yet?

South University has a 3-yr Pharmacy Program. It's a quarter system and is in session year round. The calendar changes every year!! Seriously, You will be expected to drop your entire life to work around their changes, some of which you will have very short notice about.

I suggest talking to some current or former students personally before you decide on a pharmacy school.
Many places are not what they seem or promise to be when recruiting or interviewing prospective students.
I've heard lots of sad, unbelievable stories about students being continually disrespected and treated unprofessional by faculty at one place in particular.
It's often hard to really get the message across to someone that just wants to be accepted to a program somewhere that there may be certain schools that will make your life miserable way above and beyond the normal, difficult academic program.
Furthermore, students may be afraid of retaliation if they post their true feelings or factual events on forums such as these. Yes, it's true, there are some professors that will retaliate and intimidate students if they publisize facts about their school.
Good luck hunting a school.
I hope you will find one you can be proud of.
