Can anyone comment on the pros and cons of UAB, Wake Forest, and Emory? They were three of my favorite programs, are all going to be at the top of my list, and I am OK with the respective geography of each; it is difficult to put them in a numerical order. I think I would be happy (and hopefully successful) at each program- I am under the belief that my own attitude, work ethic, commitment, and effort will determine most of my experiences. That being said, I only get to see each of these programs for a few hours on the interview trail and some of you probably have much more in depth wisdom/commentary/insight.
My goals are non-academic career (could change, still wanted academic residency learning environment, but chose places where 5 straight clinical years possible), probable fellowship in something like CR, MIS, etc.
