So this is a silly question, but who cares?

Is it ok to hit only one space after a period instead of 2 in the AMCAS PS and activities descriptions part?

just wondered... what do you all think?

who hits 2 spaces in the first place?

Yes. While 2 spaces is proper, once space will be fine.

Um, yeah- the thing is, each space counts towards your maximum characters, so uh- don't double space.

thanks, everyone :)

in the personal statement, how are you spacing between paragraphs? double space w/out indents, double space w/ indents, or single space w/ indents?

Wow. I didn't think pre-meds were this canny ;) . Eventhough saving a space is a good idea, I think it should be used sparingly and only in important activities descriptions. I got a feeling that if you overload your PS, it will probably get too long, no matter how interesting it is. I think Adcoms would probably get bored reading a long PS statement and might just start jumping around the PS. Just my one cent.
