Should I utilize the "Special Circumstance" option on the PharmCAS application? If I was to mention something, I would put that one of my semesters were bad because my son was born into the neonatal intensive care unit for 2 months which heavily hurt my semester, I made all A's and B's the semesters before and after this one, but I don't want to sound like I am looking for excuses. I don't want to use it if it is going to not really benefit any, I would rather just hope they ask about that semester instead of bringing it up. What do you guys think about this? Use it or not?

I had similar circumstances but I only mentioned it in my personal statement so I didn't use the special circumstances option. Depending on which schools you apply to some will ask about special circumstances in the supplemental applications. If you did not mention it in your personal statement I would definitely fill that part out, if you did mention it in your personal statement then its only optional.
Good Luck!
