I have a unique question that I really have no idea where I can find an answer. I have submitted my LORs from my professors and a boss through the ADEA website application process. What I do question is that now I have a priest who is eager to write another LOR for me for the Catholic schools I am applying too (Marquette, Detroit, and Creighton). Is it best just to have this recommendation sent to all the schools by using the ADEA service or should I have him send it to someone specific at each of those universities.

I'm not entirely sure how highly these letters are looked at the above schools but I don't think it could hurt. If it does hold some extra weight coming from a religious authority I would hate for it to blend in with the other 3 letters I have and not be reviewed by someone in the school who puts more value in the religious aspect. Thanks

For Detroit Mercy,
The school requires two letters from science faculty and a letter from the dentist you shadowed
Plus you already have a letter from your boss
So you have the 4 maximum number of letter on aadsas
If you really want to submit your priest's letter then he has to submit it directly to UDM
However, consider this (I copied this from UDM website)
"If additional letters are submitted, the Dental Admissions Committee respectfully requests that candidates carefully consider limiting the number submitted."

How old are LORs good for ? 😳 thanks.

If you have never applied to UDM, the letters will be looked as current
However, if you are reapplicant, your letter should be from current professors
Here is what it says
"Letters of recommendation should be submitted from current professors each year you may apply."

What about you graduated long time ago?
Then how can you get a current LOR ?
One of mine is more than 3 year old, is it not good anymore ?

I think you should call and ask
Is there a date of some sort?
UDM recommends that students continue enrolling in upper division science classes or start master's program to be competitive
