Does anyone know if schools are schools really strict on specific LORs? I've noticed NYU and Harvard, just to name a couple, specify science LORs from "lecture professors" (that I have taken a class with) while most other schools simply say "science faculty". I have two letters of recommendations from science faculty. Both are PI's that I have worked with for at least a year and one is even a professor in medical school, but they are not "lecture professors" I have taken classes from.
I'm wondering if I need to seek out another LOR from one of my previous science classes at this point or if these letters will suffice. I have two other LORs from non-science "lecture professors." Any ideas?
