On the AMCAS for "colleges attended," for one of the universities that requires a transcript, I earned two master's degrees in separate fields (M.S. in chem, M.A. in math), and I'm earning a PhD in one of those fields. This is all listed under one college attended. Is there a way to specify the fields of study for the different degrees? Or will medical schools know what the fields of study are based off the transcripts submitted to AMCAS that list the degrees awarded?

I have a MS degree and afterwards I attended the same university to get my prerequisites to apply to medical school. I listed school twice under "colleges attended" and gave the according dates and degree program. The first time I listed the university I selected "transcript required". The second time I listed the university I selected "transcript not required" because all information for both attendances was on just one total transcript from the university. I'm pretty sure I called the AMCAS 800 number to confirm how to list it. I did not have any problems having my application verified by AMCAS. Hope that helps!

Ah, this is perfect, thank you! I presume you just listed the field your MS degree was in when it asked if you had a "major"?
