In theory, if the protector can protect themselves in this game, then they could do that every single night and guarantee a villager win.

That's not true. Under most rules, the wolves win when they are at an equal number to the villagers, regardless of remaining rules.

But once the number of wolves equal the number of villagers, it's a wolf win. So if it got down to protector and wolf, the wolf wins.

TBH, I wouldn't convert TW. She's been a wolf too much and too trusting. I'd choose someone that's less likely to be paid attention to.
