What are ya'all doing for Spring Break (assuming you get one) ?

    My spring break thus far:

Friday: Drank until I blacked out to get over the stress these past few months
Saturday: Slept all day to recover
    Sunday: Still recovering from Saturday

Hasn't been that productive yet

still have 4 exams (3 of which are finals) and 2 weeks between me and spring break. I found out earlier that the MD/phDs at our school dont get a spring break, since the med school and grad school are off on different weeks...

It's two weeks away for us, too. We're going to Oregon. It'll be nice to see green again.

Our spring break is the first week of April. We have a few exams between now and then, but thankfully that means we don't have any exams right after break. Over break I'm going to not study or think about med school at all, and it is going to be fabulous. :D No travel plans -- I'll probably bum around the house and relax.

My spring break is at the beginning of april also. 4 more weeks of neuroscience/behavior module are still left between now and break with a major final exam on march 30. During break I plan to shadow some specialties, fill out the fafsa, drink, workout, and hit the beach dirty style.

Can I just say I hate you. I missed the fare sales to go home. =( I'll be staying in WI studying for boards, since my stupid brother broke his clavicle snowboarding in January which ruined my Whistler plans, and yay, Wisconsin.

You can say it, but we both know you don't mean it. ;)

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. If you want me to break your brother's other clavicle for retribution, lemme know.

Break's next week, and I'm spending ten days visiting a friend in the Peace Corps in Africa. I get back two days before our next exam block, but c'est la vie.

break at my school is a week away from an exam so I"ll probably just end up using the two extra days to catch up on studying, we only get two days of course because we get lundi and mardi gras off in feb which was worth it :)

Whistler doesn't count, that's not actually spring break. That's pagemma taking a vacation while the rest of us are doing work.

I'M going to MIAMI, where I plan do go to the beach and drink and do nothing else. Thank God for whoever decided we should have a test the Friday before break so I won't even be tempted to do anything work-related. All of my reading will be trashy novels.

I don't have any money left, so I'm going home. To colder weather, but no mountains. Bleh.

On the plus side, I'll get to be completely lazy and have free food.

    I'd rather go to Mexico.

    You all suck.

That is one advantage of going to med school in Israel. Europe is only a 2 hour flight away. I will be backpacking Spain and Portugal for 12 days while studying for my neuropsych exam...fun fun.

I almost signed up for this conference. Basically indecision right up until the deadline for our chapter sign up. But since I went to another conference recently, I figured I probably shouldn't do this one (money-wise). Have an awesome time!! My school's sending a bunch of people.

3 weeks away! I'm headed to Nicaragua again this year to provide healthcare to anyone who shows up at our makeshift clinics. Last year, our school took 60 med students and 7 doctors. We saw 1,203 patients over a 3-day period. Now that's medicine.

Man, I'm so jealous of you people who go to a school with an active MSFC program. My school in hickville doesn't have one. I guess I could try to start one, but I think someone would firebomb my car or something.

Did I mention that Oklahoma sucks? Had to get my daily Oklahoma rant out. :)

The first week of vacation I'll go home to Sweden. Then two weeks after we have easter break, so then me and some of my fellow med student friends will go to Spain. Spain is so underrated.

I think they are outdated. The list above shows OU as having a chapter, but as far as I call tell, we don't have one -- at least it's not listed anywhere.

I hope it's outdated. That's an awful lot of schools without a chapter. :(

I think it is outdated. Cornell is listed as both having and not having a chapter. one of them has to be wrong!
