Standby @ PCO

Hi everyone!

i haven't really seen any thread with PCO's student on standby list. I have been placed there for 3 weeks now and havent heard anything yet. Any one else having the same issue? anyone eliminating PCO from their list of choices? It'll be very great if we could have some students sharing their experiences.

yup!im also on standby...never heard of it either. waiting list..ok..but never heard of standby..is it the same thing? apparently we might find out up to and including the 1st week of classes which is kinda scary!

yes, waiting or standby are both same...i talked to Todd this friday, and he said the standby list hasnt been moved at all...and there could possibly be 40 students on the list. I dont see my chances being very high..🙁

GPA = 3.5
OAT= TS 340
and 1 yr of optometry shadowing

Hey There!

I am not actually applying to the optometry program at PCO, but I did apply to the new PA program. I am also on "Standby." I know I might not hear anything until the first week of classes. I just wanted to throw the idea out there about a possible roommate. I don't have access to the PCO blackboard so I don't know of any other students who need a roommate. I would prefer a female if that is "okay." While I like to sometimes have fun on the weekend, I know I will need to focus and study. I'm a non-smoker. Just let me know if anyone is interested. (I know this is weird doing this on a message board, but I don't know a soul up there and this of course would be very last minute!)

it was a last minute thing... initially i had no intention for applying to PCO...but now OHIO have already given me a seat...so i m leaning more towards tat..but then again i liked PCO very much...the campus and surrounding areas are all very nice...so i wud love to go there..lets see...
