For how much longer does Stanford extend interview invites? Has anyone received one recently?

I received my interview invitation in November, but I'm interviewing in January because I couldn't get a reasonably priced flight in the very short notice they gave me. They are on the quarter system, so they probably will continue to interview in the spring.

that's what i have been thinking too! my file has been complete there for 4 months! i can't believe how slow they are! i wish that i would finally hear something from them...

isn't slow somewhat of a good thing? i mean if stanford doesn't like you aren't they quick to reject you? also does anyone know when stanford stops sending interview invites?

Well lots of people did get quick rejects (look at the A/W/R thread). So it can't be all bad if you haven't gotten rejected yet.

Guys,

I was there yesterday, and I was told that they will interview until some time in April. So the last invites will probably go out in mid/late March.

So there's plenty of time left.

My app. was complete 11/01, and I received an interview invite sometime during the week before Christmas...maybe the 20th. So, they are definitely still sending out invites. Don't lose hope!!

Ummm...no news is good news, just got the rejection today. (In Cali) It was postmarked Jan 5. This emphasizes why I am a Golden Bear fo life and just confirms my DEEP HATRED of Stanfurd.

Screw Stanford. I'd rather go to UCSF anyways... 😀
