Can someone please tell me what the little red stars on the score report mean?

also- i'm confused about the lengths of the bar.

I had one with NO bar !

It depends on where the asterisk/bar is. If the asterisk is on the extreme left of the score report, it means that your performance was on the very low end. If it was on the extreme right, it means that you did extremely well. Same goes for the bar. If most of your bars are to the right of "borderline", then you are above average. If most are to the left of "borderline", then you are below average. If you don't have a bar, again it depends on where the bar is. If you did really well on a particular subject, there would be no bar at all and all you would have is an * on the right sight of the score report. You can also have no bar and have an * on the left side of the score report (which would mean you did very poorly on that subject)

The length of the bar corresponds to how well they can accurately assess your strength/weakness in that topic. A longer bar means that your performance though may be a bit more erratic and thus harder for them to judge with extreme accuracy. A shorter bar means they are pretty sure that your performance fell within that small area (so I guess its a precision thing. Bigger bar means low precision vs smaller bar means high precision)
