I have already submitted everything weeks ago. Previously I have done bench research at two separate institutions(no publications) and volunteered at hospitals/private practices/nursing homes.
Right now, I'm just playing the waiting game.

I am not currently taking classes nor doing anything besides being lazy and spending more time on my hobbies.

Since I have submitted everything..do you think school cares if I am not doing anything medical related currently?
And will starting anything NEW like volunteering/research while in this cycle have a lot of impact?

I probably will try to find some jobs, so far no luck in the medical industry.
Thanks for the help.

Same boat man, except I just started doing work in a research clinic. Other than that, just chilling. It's awesome! I was so burnt out after all of those years of school. So I don't think it's too bad to do this, just have something to talk about during the interview.

No one will blame you for taking some chill time, but eventually you'll want to get involved in pertinent activities that will provide fodder for Secondary essays, interview conversations, and update letters. And if worse comes to worst and you need to reapply, you'll have something to answer to the common "How have you improved your application since you last applied?" question.

Thanks. I guess in the mean time, I will be spending a lot of me time and stuffs I liked. LOL.
