Hi all,
I was recently hired as a part-time pharmacist at a retail who does roughly 700-800 Rx/week. With no prior retail experience (other than school) I'm a bit nervous starting this position as a recent graduated pharmacist since everyone says that stuff they teach at school like counseling and stuff is actually not that relevant in reality. If anyone has any comments on their experience for me in regards to starting out in retail, it would be appreciated

800 a week? Sounds like you'll have plenty if time to counsel.

every retail pharmacy has a sign that says counseling and ppl do line up there. so why is it not important?

How about "Could you help me find _________, Dr. Oz said it does _____________ and I really want to try it"
The actual blanks are "something" and "something" followed by "You know, the thing...what do you mean you don't? What good are you? You have the worst customer service and are extremely stupid."
