I am hoping to secure a position at a med school as a research assistant/technologist. I hope to match into this surgical sub in the future after making it into med school.

Assuming that I am able to secure this position, I had a few questions:

What are things that I should look out for to maximize my experience and my ability to publish?
What are things that will really help me to shine?
