Most recruiters will provide you with a sample, if you ask. Which is handy, since the Army has a standard format it tends to use.

Look over the sample template and input stuff relevant to you. Your experience that indicates your path to med school. Your short term academic goals. Your long term professional and military goals. And how your service in the Army will benefit you and how your service will benefit the Army. Don't kill yourself over it.

Ask your recruiter for a sample Statement. He or she should have one to provide.

Thanks for the quick response I had a template but I threw it out because I did a statement of motivation in Feb. My recruiter just told me 2 weeks ago to do it over because it has to be army specific. thanks for the advice 😍😍

Honestly I suspect not much weight would be given to the statement as there have been a shortage of applicants. They would likely check to make sure there are no red flags and then give prompt approval.

thnk you for all the responses I was so nervice about this I am feeling more confident I basically finished now I am doing finishing touces once you submit how long does it take for an answer and then what happens next?
Definetly class of 2014

Your packet will go to a review board, assuming physical and everything is already done. Then you get a board review and the surgeon general officially awards you the scholarship and you get a letter. If your MCAT was over 28, then you are an automatic acceptance, so its all just a formality.

After you get your scholarship award letter, then you have to sign the contract, take your oath of office and wait for school to start. My advice: once you sign your contract, call the recruiter's office at least once a week to check the status and find out if you need to sign anything else. Amazingly, I had several forms that needed updating throughout the process, but noone ever called ME, it was always the other way around. Just keep on it and you'll be fine. Also, once your paperwork is in, it would be a good idea to get your military id, as this is a pain and you won't have as much time to sit in the office and wait once school starts.

Good luck.

I was told automatic acceptance with my score of 27 so he lied to me I did the pysical and everything else Thank You I am so excited I am going to be in the army and as a doctor 😍😍
