I need help making a DO list...

I don't know if there is anything similar to an MSAR for DO schools.

But I've done some significant gpa improvement, in fact somebody told me it was going to take me 10 years, ...it took 2, but anyways... here are my stats.

These are my classes I've taken that will be included in the science GPA

Gen Chem I C
Gen Chem II B
O Chem I B
O Chem II A
Bio I A
Bio II B
Micro B
Intro to AP A
AP I A
AP II B
Genetics A
Physics I B
Physics II A

Registered for Biochem for Fall 2014, "recommended" course.

3.56 sGPA according to the GPA calculator

MCAT is August 15. I plan on applying next June.

I'm a Tx Resident so TCOM of course, but they don't do grade replacement so my gpa for ACMAS and TMDSAS are quite different.

I was thinking of adding NOVA, and PCOM-GA... I'm really lost on anything else.

I've been searching the board to eliminate regional biased schools. I would prefer to stay in the South or East Coast. I would love to be in the DC area as Howard is my #1 pick, but I didn't see any schools in that vicinity. Any help would be wonderful. Also, what MCAT should I be "okay" with. I'm aiming for a 30. I know Tuition is "cheap" in Texas, but I'm looking for a change.

Thanks

No one really cares about individual grades, just your gpa's.
Where you apply is heavily dependent on your MCAT scores. But generally speaking, for your location you want to go to you have CUSOM, ACOM, NOVA, PCOM-GA, WCU, VCOM-cc, LECOM-bradenton, I know I am forgetting a few... most of those dont have a massively large bias.

You said you have been "improving" your gpa. What is your cGPA gpa before and after grade replacement? If you are a Texas resident, your goal should be to stay in Texas if possible.

I posted the individual grades because I've used two different gpa calculators and they gave me different gpas, so I was doing that incase somebody thought it may have looked "wrong". So before gpa replacement it was ~2.83, now it's a 3.41/ 3.56 depending on the gpa calculator. I don't know how it can be that off. But that is where I am. Also, I will stay in Texas if I am able to be admitted and have no other options, but I really want to leave.

The list will depend your on MCAT and EC's. 3.41/3.56 is close enough to DO averages.

edit: A the 2.81 TMDSAS GPA won't get you into MD or TCOM in TX, thus I don't believe you would be in the situation where you need to stay.

My gpa is not a 2.81 for TMDSAS, because I have math classes that weren't calculated into the sGPA for aacomas. I have a connection at a certain school in Texas, but I'm not going to count on that.

Impossible to make a list without MCAT. There are several threads about what schools to apply to and average numbers on the first page here.
