Status of the CS exam for Class of 2006

I keep hearing rumors that the Step 2 CS exam is gonna be removed for the next year. Is this true? What's the official word/rumor about this, and if they do decide to do away with it, when would we find out?

Have not heard this rumor. Bottom line, just schedule it. If it gets scrapped you should be able to get your $$$. If you wait you risk losing your first choice for date and even possibly location = $$$$$.
