Hi folks,
I can stay at a friend's in Brooklyn but have to travel to Richmond University Program in Staten Island and St John's Episcopal in Far Rockaway.

Is it feasible to go from Brooklyn to Staten Island and Far Rockaway on separate days? Bus, Train or am I better off finding something close by to those places? Is driving the best way to get from Brooklyn to those places?

I'm trying to plan the logistics. I will be travelling from RI to NY.

Anyone familiar with NY area, please chime in and your help is much appreciated!!

Depending exactly on where in Brooklyn, getting to Far Rockaway is fairly easy via car or subway (take the A).

Thank you AMEHigh!

Is Staten Island same deal? Easy to get to via car and train and not risk of getting stuck forever in the traffic?

I'm leaning more towards taking a cab, is that feasible without raking up a huge bill?
