Staying with student host question

This is just a small question. If I am staying with a student host for an interview, is it for the night before or after the interview?

Night before.

If you request, you may also stay the night after interviewing. This is based on student host availability. I've hosted students night before, and usually that is Thursday night. I would offer to show them around town, go out to dinner Friday evening should they leave Saturday.
