Do you actually try to learn the sketches in zanki? I feel like the only way for those to be useful would be watching the videos.
The pepper deck was pretty good. I generally watched the videos once (early in term), then did the cards over time. It takes a little while, but it will stick.
Sketchy pharm + the lolnotacop anki deck! Watch a video at 2x speed, then go through the cards to catch anything you missed, and keep doing the cards forever! Also try to imagine the picture whenever you do the cards to help you remember the whole thing. The more you can space it out and study consistently the better, keep reviewing these cards until step 1 comes. Trying to understand drug mechanisms also helps you with physiology and pathology.
Literally sketchy pharm + anki cards + that one diagram in FA about antibiotic MOAs (because I could never remember those) got me 95% correct in UWorld pharm.

Disagree. Watching the video helps all those hooks stick - the narrative they give is super important (or it was for me at least, although I'm very story driven).
We will have to agree to disagree. I think sketchy micro is pretty good. The Sketchy pharm has a drastic decrease in quality. Anki alone is good enough to know all the drugs
Do you find that the lol deck to be complete with the sketchypharm vids?
Which deck is better to go along with sketchy pharm: pepper or lolnotacop? Do you guys have links for those?

I also think the sketchy videos are important to watch. I watch them on 2x speed and get through them pretty quickly but its such a valuable resource. I can literally recall a cat in the sketch for catalase positive or an amp in a sketch to know its treated with ampicillin when I'm trying to recall information. To have that visual connection is better than just trying to cold recall. I don't even consider myself a visual learner and I think they are valuable.

That link to the lolnotacop deck doesn't seem to have that many drugs, is it a complete deck of all the drugs from sketchy?

I'm still pretty new to anki but i think the lolnotacop deck is specifically for micro and not all pharm but, that could be wrong. I was under the impression that lolnotacop and pepper were for micro which tends to include a lot of pharm but, not all pharm. Again, this could be wrong...I haven't started studying all pharm for step yet I'm just in my micro block and its been very helpful thus far. Can any else shed light on whether lolnotacop and pepper are specifically for micro if they should include all pharm?
Do Zanki pharm. Lolnotacop is for micro more.
