I'm currently a 3rd year IMG so I have another 2 years until I write my Step 1.

I was planning on snailing my way now until I finish medical school and then into dedicated studying for 5 months. For starters, my basics are really not that great. Instead of reading the comprehensive books again and learning information not tested on Step 1, should I follow this method of using flashcards?

- Lange Pharmacology Flash Cards
- Lippincott's Microbiology Flash Cards
- Netter's Anatomy Flash Cards

*Any better flashcards for the above subjects?

I was thinking I could do like a flash card a day per subject and perfect it (read if I don't understand it) as I have plenty of time.

For Pathology and Physiology, I was thinking I'd do a bit of BRS Physiology and Pathoma everyday.

If I followed this religiously and perfected the flashcards, BRS and Pathoma, and used no other sources other than First Aid and Banks during my dedicated study period, should I be able to score high on the Step 1?

All suggestions will be appreciated. If this method is not effective, please let me know.
