Step 2 score for interview consideration?

Is there a reliable way to find out exactly what programs will filter you out if you apply without a step 2 ck score? I was under the impression that a step 2 ck score is only needed for ranking (by Feb), and if one does well on step 1, then step 2 ck can be deferred. FREIDA is not accurate per previous threads, and individual residency websites don't specify step 2 ck. If it makes a difference, I'm applying anesthesiology. Thanks.

Consider contacting the programs. Why rely on an anonymous internet forum full of high minded pre-meds when you can call the program in consideration and get an answer in less than 30 seconds.
