Hey does anyone know how long it takes to find out your step 2ck score after taking the test? Took mine on 9/24 and am just curious.

My guess would be that you'll get your score on Wednesday, October 20th. The amount of time frequently quoted around here is the "fourth Wednesday" after your test, which should be fairly accurate again now that the delay in score reporting is over.

You'll likely get them October 13, although they may be included in the October 6 date. It's normally 3 Wednesdays from your test date under normal circumstances. Since you took it on a Friday, the 1st Wednesday starts counting from the following week you took it. If you take it on a Saturday, then you'll get them 4 Wednesdays from the date you took it, since Friday is the cut off day for the week.

... it's not gonna be reported on the 6th! I took it on the 23rd and just checked, and it's not posted today (i'm on eastern time...) so we'll try again next week. I'm waiting too. I ... sort of don't want to know....

I took Step 2 CK on 09/23/2010 as well, and am about to have a full-on panic waiting for the scores! I'm assuming they'll be out tomorrow. I noticed that a couple of days ago, the link to print out my "permit" disappeared and now it shows my test as "complete". I guess that means a report is pending, but have no real idea if that means anything. I also took Step 2 CS two months ago tomorrow, and I am still waiting on a score.

Eh, I hope you're right, but I'm not sure about the theory. I'm pretty sure that mine switched to complete once I'd finished taking the exam. But good luck tomorrow! I hope it goes well for both of us.....

For what it's worth, I took my exam on 9/24, and it's now after midnight EST (11:05pm here in Chicago) and I have no score report on the website.

They don't release them at midnight. I called the NBME yesterday and I was told you get an email around 10:30am of the Wednesday your score is released telling you the score will be available at around 11:00am, if you are getting the score on that Wednesday.

Hey guys,

I took my exam October 7th and I was thinking I was maybe going to get my score this week so I tried the IWA trick. I logged on and under begin a new application the only choice I have is request to extend a USMLE eligibility period for step 2 ck.

Is that good, bad or means absolutely nothing. It probably means nothing but I am getting antsy to know if I passed or failed. I know I need to relax but its getting harder and harder.

Well if anyone knows anything let me know. If anyone who took it the same week and got their scores chime in. Thanks guys.

Well looks like only being able to extend the eligibility period did mean something because I got my score today and passed.
