Last two days. You know, I actually enjoyed studying for step3, it’s the money and time waste that concerns me otherwise I would say I liked especially ccs part. I don’t mind doing ccscases.com all over for another tour, I couldn’t find time last time. Even if I fail, I’ll just do uworld once again, do ccscases.com and take again in a month or so. Not sure how will I find the money though🙂 otherwise it’s cool🙂 it’s gonna be ok.

Permit link is still active, no change on fsmb. I think these guys are reading our posts here and laughing their asses off cuz we have no idea what’s going on on their side.
I bet what they’d tell me is “wait for your result dummy, you pass, you fail, you’ll see” .

Hahaha! I was obsessively checking it until it finally disappeared this morning around 8:30am. I guess this week it is! So nervous, such a terrible exam. So many weird CCS cases.. i dont even know

Yeah it's gone , you're right. Tomorrow night my friend!
fsmb on the other hand still says approved and grey box below. I mean how can it say expired while my eligibility period remains having 10 days more anyway. This trick is confusing.
I guess if your eligibility period actually expires by the time it's announced and then your link disappears, maybe then it's more valuable.

Yea i have no idea, my eligibility period doesn’t expire yet either so mine still says approved

I looked at previous posts and looks like regardless of when eligibility period expires, as soon as they calculate your score the page turns to expired with grey or yellow box below.
But i guess it didn’t work for someone last week. Soooo...
I should stop checking and making assumptions though.

Hey guys,

Second year pathology resident here.

I took my Step 3 exam on 7/25 and 7/29. I felt like day 1 was very challenging and day 2 was a bit better. Although, I must say I did not feel great walking out of the exam on either day. Felt like I was narrowing it down to 2-3 answers and did my best to give an educated answer.

As far as the CCS cases, I felt maybe good about 9 or 10 out of the 13. I used only UWorld and practiced the CCS cases on Uworld. Started studying back in December by going through Uworld blocks sporadically and then used my research elective month in July for dedicated studying time.

My permit disappeared today as I also have been checking many times the past week. My status on fsmb still says approved, although my eligibility ends at the of this month. Yeah, I am with you guys on the "trick". Not sure how accurate it is so will be taking it with a grain of salt.

A part of me just wants to get this over with and see what happens. Good luck guys!

I felt like you described everything I've done-felt and my studying process was the same. Having unstable angina here. I wish I could've slept all the way through tomorrow midnight.

Yeah, I have been obsessing over the result this Wednesday. Feeling my anxiety increase as Tuesday at midnight looms closer.

F... man, now I’m reading about all the ones who had no yellow box but still failed.
I don’t know what good was there for me to check this f..ing trick. It only exacerbates my ulcer.

I’m trying to figure that out. Obviously if you have the reapply link, that means you failed.
But when you don’t it’s about your eligibility period.
I’m looking at retrospectively and trying to figure out. Someone also said this in reddit, but trying to confirm.

My eligibility period wasn’t close to ending. Im hopeful we passed!!!

I think it’s not certain still. If you failed and eligibility is over then you see a link to reapply, since it’s already over.
But if you failed and eligibility period is not over, then there might be no reapply link and you might see the same thing as the ones who passed.
So I guess for the ones whose eligibility period is not over, trick is tricky. But I’m still reading to verify.

Yeah it worked. I don’t give a f.. anymore. I know I can pass this second time even if I fail now. I need to focus on my weak areas, derma,ID, and do ccscases.com and take it in 6 weeks again. It’s not worth the stress.

Yeah I got the same idea.
So it looks like if your eligibility period is not over, you get the same message regardless.
If it’s over and you failed then you get the yellow link before the results are released. So this thing called trick only works when you failed and your eligibility period is over.
Since 98% passes (90% img), no surprise it looks like it works for many people.
I need to figure out how the hell am I gonna be able to afford uworld and test fee again. I feel like I’m in that 2% for sure.
We’ll see in 12 hrs
