Hi , I graduated this year from medical school in Saudi arabia , im an Irish passport holder , i just wanna ask about residency program in England and Ireland especially in ophthalmology or pediatric ... Is it easy to get acceptance and what is the requirement ?!
Anyone have an idea about ophthalmology program in Spain !?

Have you heard of getting a spot in Canada for residency? I know the Saudi government has an agreement with Canada for residency spots.

Also, have you finished your internship in Saudi Arabia? If you want the UK I think you need to apply to the foundation program http://www.foundationprogramme.nhs.uk/pages/home/how-to-apply/FP2015-Eligibility-Information. I believe you should be eligible.

Ireland is separate from the UK, the 2 systems are totally different. I don't know that having an Irish passport will help you in the UK at all but you would need to look it up. Ophthalmology is competitive in most cases, paeds is undersubscribed in the UK.
