I need to know any physical therapy programs which are still accepting applications. I know it's very late but I don't think I am going to get accepted to the schools I have applied and REALLY REALLY need to get into a program somewhere somehow! My stats aren't bad...3.1 gpa around a 1100 on the GRE. Worked as an aid for PT all summer. If anyone knows any programs that are still taking applications please post them! Thank you

I know Touro accepts applications until the summer; I mention it since you applied to SBU and it's kind of in the same area. Give it a look?

You should try St. Aug. They accept applications all year round..

i will def look into both of those programs. i am really surprised i haven't heard back from stony brook. where is st.aug?

St. Aug is south of Jacksonville, Florida.

I just heard back from Univ of St Aug (I got accepeted EEEEEK!) their application due date for their January term is June 15 so you have plenty of time!

Did you have an interview at Stony Brook?

I didn't get asked for an interview yet for Stony Brook. I applied well on time too. I called up too find out what the deal was and asked if they were still conducting interviews and I believe she said they were not. Stony Brook is strange. I don't understand why I wasn't given an opportunity to interview. Everyone with decent stats should be given an interview. If I had an interview I know I would have shined.

Unfortunately, some schools only look at your GPA. I have the same GPA (3.1) as you have and I know the pain. But I got accepted to a DPT school recently. Try St. Aug. See what happens. Good luck in the process.

What was your science GPA? SBU looks more at the science GPA rather than the overall GPA. I heard they look for all science grades of B or higher.

Bio 1-A Bio 2-B+
Chem 1-C Chem 2-B
Physics 1-B Physics 2-C
A&P 1-A A&P2- in progress(won't get lower then a B+)

I do realize that I have a few C's but my regular GPA was very good other parts of my application were strong. I still haven't heard back from them though so theoretically I have a chance. I am not one to dwell though if this doesn't work out i'll figure something out
