I have not heard from a bunch of schools (Penn, NYU,...). What are your thoughts? I see others getting reject notices. Did they just send in their app that much earlier? 😕 Discuss.

I still have a bunch of schools I havent heard back from either, and my app has been in and completed for months already.. So your not alone.. Look at it this way, if you haven't gotten a rejection letter yet, like the others you mentioned, then your in a better position then they are..

I did hear from one school that had a question about how I would meet one of their pre-reqs. They said if I gave them my plan they would continue to consider my app. It made me feel a bit better.

Half of the schools I heard from i got interviews from them...the other half...well i feel like they're taking my money and run away as far as possible.

Nerve racking it is! I can't stand all this waiting!!

I applied to 18 schools and have only heard from 6. At least no rejections so far. 👍

There are 3 schools that I didnt hear from!! one of them is almost my first choice school...when I called I was told that im under review and I should hear from them soon. Now my question is : when is "soon"??? I was told that a month ago and still I didnt hear anything...Ill take that as NO lolol

Was it Maryland? Last year they asked me if I planned to take biochem. I wrote them a letter back saying I was taking it in the spring and they offered me an interview pretty quickly after that, so if I were you, I'd write them a letter ASAP and you'll probably get an interview pretty soon.

I'm waiting on Penn and VCU. Penn told me the other day when I called that my app was being reviewed by the committee and that there are still a couple days left in Dec for interviews. Meh.

As for VCU who knows. I couldn't seem to reach them the other day.

VCU has never replied to me even once.

You're better off emailing one of the people in the VCU admissions office to ask about your file than calling; when I called to schedule my interview it took 2 hours to get through to the woman who finally answered, and she said "If you have any additional questions it's better to email than call coz I'm never at my desk!" Good luck! 👍

It was Maryland that asked about the pre-req. I sent an email like they asked. 🙂 I sent the email on the 1st of this month. Should I call and see if they received it? 😕

i haven't heard from nine schools. some of them i didn't expect to hear back from anyways, but i really expected to hear from a few of them by now. i even called maryland to see if my app was finished or not and the lady on the phone said that it was being reviewed and she thought i would be contacted very soon but that was two weeks ago. maybe "soon" is a relative word.

'Soon' is very relative! I spoke to Maryland today - app is under review again! Waiting for a nice, fat envelope to hop into my mailbox any day now!

guys dont stess it too much, they are still checking applications and will give interviews in dec-march well its not great but its still an interview, hang in there, two schools recently told me they want the checks so i guess iam the one here who is by far the last to apply ( app processed oct 20)
