I applied around mid-August/early September and haven't really heard from any schools besides a couple rejections ( 🙁 ) but haven't lost hope and was wondering what should I do right now? Should I contact schools for an update on my application? Again, besides the 2 rejections, I haven't heard anything else these past few months.

I applied around mid-July for Texas schools and haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully we both get in!

You can send updates to the schools about what you’ve been doing or learning, ofc if it’s related to dentistry. Also you can further express your interest in attending the school through email as well. It can’t hurt you and you never know what can happen. I sent updates to most of the schools I haven’t heard back from yet and one school sent an invite soon after

Same,I retook my DAT in early Sept. I applied 16 schools and got 1 rejection and 1 interview invited. Anxious waiting lol.
