Just wanted to keep this thread going... esp now that the Dec 30 deposit due date has come and gone. Anyone out there definitely attending?!
 
Does any one know that,did stonybrook give admission to any foreign graduate dentist this year,on their website nothing about that,and if yes what are their requirements for that?

when is stony going to notify other applicants on accepentances???

alsoo, what if i didnt get a call, that means wat exactly??is that better than being waitlisted or no?
 
Any body heard anything this week? Had an interview early December and havent heard anything as of yet
 
has anyone else heard from stony yet???or has been rejected/waitlisted??

still havent recieved a response yet---what does that meannnnn?!?!??they are just going to keep me waiting till about may/june--->at least its better than a rejection :laugh:
 
Does anyone want to start a Facebook page so we can start complaining about dental school already? 😀
 
im on stony brooks official waitlist.... i dont suppose many people will be turning down their spots tho... =( got the E-mail mid feb had to fax them an acknowledgment

Innulja, could you give more info, there were 10 others that day, which one were you? ukistar?
 
There were six of us total lol, 3 girl and 3 guys😀, i'm the one from New-York. (the other two were out of state I think from NJ and Connecticut)
 
so. . .since ppl pulled outta stony, i know of total of 3 ppl ( 1 SDN and 2 friends) when are they going to be giving out some more seats??

or does stony overaccept like other schoool???

anybody have some insightt
 
I interviewed Oct. 8th and got waitlisted on jan 15th. They just called me yesterday to offer me a spot.
 
better to be "waitlisted" or still "under review"/"a decision has not been reached"???

i spoke to Patricia Berry today and she said the committee will be meeting one more time, but she does not know when

so i guess lets keep holding out
 
If Patricia said that the committee is meeting one more time then there are probably still a couple of more spots maybe. It is a little late in the game though and not many spots get turned down here.
 
is there anyone that got offered a spot at stony brook and is withdrawing anytime soon?

i dont really think there is deadline for that. I just want to make sure that I dont take too long so that the seat can be open soon to a hopeful student (both my deposits are in)

you have until may 1st to decide, because after this date you are not allowed to hold more than one spot.
