Hello,

So I am taking my Boards in 6 days. This is my second attempt (first shot i missed it by 1%--- 74). I MUST pass this time in order to progress. I have gone through some of the decks not all. I went through all of them the first time and didnt really find them that useful.

So I have every single resource imaginable available to me but I am having trouble coming up with a strategy. Just sort of spinning my wheels.. need some help plzzzzz

What should I concentrate on?
- Decks?
- ASDA Papers?
- Dental Board Mastery (app-- its actually pretty good)
- First aid questions??
- ***********?

6 days...woaah.....well i would suggest you to read whatever you thought you were learning from......reading a good basic review like first aid or something seriously will help you more and cover up more systematically than reading tits n bits from here n there such as decks and ASDA........i went through the same situation last year.....couldnt clear my exam missed it by 4 percentile.....everyone was like do decks decks asda nothing else and it left me confused......will reappear soon.....even i didnt find decks usefull, i thought they were overhyped.....i didnt like first aid too but still its better than the decks to revise, its sytematically arranged......so this time m tryin to clear my bascis......do the basics and everything will fall in place......all the best.......

took my part 1 three weeks ago.
i went through panic mode too so i can relate to this.
i am assuming you are taking it 8/7?
since you took the exam once already. you sort of know what to expect, and hopefully you used that as an advantage during your preparation this time around. because you failed once, its normal to fear you will failed again. but you have to believe in yourself, if you are only 1% shy, your preparation this time should pull you way over that gap.

final tip, try to rest up the day/night before the exam. the last thing you need is to be tired going in to the exam.
good luck.

Well I was planning on taking it today but I pushed it another week. I am scoring 50's on the practice exams... what are orther people scoring?

To be honest, you should be scoring in the 60's to be comfortable in passing. If you are scoring in the 50's, you are going to be at the borderline again. I was getting between 65 and 75 before I took the exam.
