Stress with W's

I was just wondering, because I am so stress out..and confused....I would like to know how many people have gotten W's on their transcript and got accepted...I have 6 right now, and already have a B.S. in biology and Chemistry and my calculus class is really killing me...I am take organic chem with it and trying to prepare for the PCAT for October too....my calculus is taking so much of my time...I am scared that I am sacrifing my PCAT for a LOW score and my O-chem class....I am scared to get the 7th W on my transcripts....and then my uncle just died.too..so it seems everything is coming down on me...AHHHH...so I was hoping to take it in the spring if I drop it now. Does it lessen my chances of getting in without taking calc. until the spring....suggestions for this 7th W...cause I am so stress out....I want to focus on the Oct. PCAT cause I didn't do to well on the last one....Please help.....

well u can always find somone that has past exams/HW and just copy the Hw and study overnight for the exam

I have the HW answers, as for past exam the professor taught like trig. that semster so no past exams available.

How the heck did you get a BS in anything without having to take Calc? Or are you retaking? And don't stress about the W's, cause stressing about it does no good. 6 w's over that many classes isn't a big deal. If they ask, just let them know what happened.

Calc was not part of my major. My major was Biology and I had a minor in Chemistry.

Some schools let biology majors get away with taking stuff like biostatistics instead of calculus.

Don't have to take any math except trig and algebra II, but i took Cal 1 and Discrete Math just for kicks...pulled a 4.0 and a 3.0 respectively😎

it's better to get a W than to get an F which u know will pull down ur gpa...not good! for the Ws just explain it in ur p.s or sub. Adcom wont care if there is a valid reason. I had like 12-14Ws on my transcripts and i still got accepted!! lol. gl. I hope things will work out for the best.

haha...what the hell kinda third rate institution was this? everyone i know who took biology had to take 1-2 quarters of calculus.

Thanks for your positive input. With your positive input I don't feel as stress and more hopeful. I hope I have as good of luck as you had. I had post the thread to get suggestions from people, because I was stressing out, not to get bash about not taking calculus. 😳

I've noticed the SOP for many in the forum is to bash first ask questions later.

Good luck with the calc.
