Does studying abroad help your chances to get into a med school? I've heard mixed opinions. I was curious to know since Im thinking about it.

I've heard it's a pretty regular activity these days, so whether you've done it or not doesn't really help or hurt much at all.
 
Well, unless you mess up your grades while there, I don't see why not.:laugh:

Gives you more to talk about if anything, but it's not like the equivalent of suddenly raising your GPA from 3.6 to 3.8, if you know what I mean.

I guess it makes you more well-rounded
 
I vaguely remember hearing that Creighton gives preference to applicants who studied abroad
