At my school some of my rotations such as my ob/gyn and surgery rotations are only 4 weeks long and the first 3 weeks are pretty intensive and you work really long hours since it is so compressed but the last week is really light and is considered our "study week". Is it possible to study for the exam and do well with only one week of intense pure studying?

just took OB/GYN shelf, it was pretty brutal I thought. The best prep for it, which you could definenetly push thorugh in a week, was the APGO's uWISE question bank - see if you school has a subscription. Casefiles is good too. If you could do a couple question sets (of 10) a night and pick it up durig your last week I'm sure you'd be okay. If you don't have access to uWISE, pre-test is at about the same level of difficulty as the shelf
